Spring Yoga Journaling + Restorative Practice

To help you ease into Spring, enjoy this Journaling and Restorative Yoga Practice:

1. Journal Prompt: Where can I soften control and trust the unfolding of my path?

    Breath work: Equal breathing (inhale 5, exhale 5)

    Restorative Pose: Savasana with blanket and bolster support. Relax the top of your head as you rest. Connect with what is meaningful to you and breathe in more trust.

    2. Journal Prompt: What does “just being” feel like in my body when I release the need to do or achieve?

    Breath work: Slow diaphragmatic breathing (inhale 4, exhale 6)

    Restorative Pose:
    Supported Child’s Pose (Bolster under chest). Soften into the earth and breathe in so much safety.

    3. Journal Prompt: Where in my life am I forcing flow instead of allowing it?

    Breath work: Box breathing (4-4-4-4)

    Restorative Pose:
    Reclined Bound Angle Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana) As you breathe evenly, allow an ease to flow through you. Relax your hips and land on the earth.

    4. Journal Prompt: What naturally lights me up when I give myself permission to rest?

    Breath work: Ocean breath (Ujjayi)

    Restorative Pose: Supported Reclining Twist. Release Solar Plexus and naturally awaken your inner fire and authenticity.

    5. Journal Prompt: How can I create space for inspiration / intention without chasing it?

    Breath work: Three-part breath (Inhale Belly, ribs, chest…. Exhale Chest, ribs, belly)

    Restorative Pose: Supported Bridge Pose. Be held and relax into the divine inspiration available. With each breath, plant your seed of intention and allow it to be nourished.
